This car is a very limited production 1956 Mercury Meteor Rideau four door 'town sedan' It is unmodified, with original powertrain, interior and exterior and is only used for casual trips and car shows. The car has had some extensive exterior restoration. It shows minimal aging and wear and is overall in above average condition. It has been stored in a garage since it was purchased in 2020. The body panels and front and rear bumpers are straight and free of accident damage or corrosion. The car was repainted the original yellow, grey and black colours at some point before we purchased it and the paint is in very good condition. The glass is in very good condition. The engine is the original 292 cubic inch Ford 'Y' block V8. The chromed finish on the bumpers is excellent. The upholstery is in excellent condition, having been covered by aftermarket seat covers. The interior overall is in above average condition. This car is insured in Alberta and has only been driven in the summer. This car was professionally appraised in June of 2024.
