Car has been modified numerous times throughout the years from 1982 to 2021. Suspension has been completely replaced from original with Ridetech coil over shocks, 4 link rear suspension, front tubular control arms and Musclebar sway bar. Dual exhaust with Hooker headers and Trans Am dual exhaust tips. RetroSound Model One radio with dual voice coil single replacement speaker (front), 6 x 9

INTERESTING / IMPORTANT VEHICLE HISTORY AND SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS:

Original owner 1978 Pontiac Firebird Esprit modified through the years. Note insurance appraisal of March 23, 2022 and photos. Car rarely driven since 2011. Current driveline is Chevrolet small block 383 Stroker Motor with mild roller camshaft built by D & W Custom Engine Specialties of Calgary in 2011; forged scatter/explosion shield; new Mcleod clutch assembly installed by Dale Adams Automotive Specialists in 2021; Richmond/Doug Nash 4 + 1 Street Five Speed manual transmission (final drive ratio 1:1) with Long Shifter; and 3.08:1 ratio rear end with disc brakes from 1980 Trans Am. Wilwood Engineering disc brake caliper kits with flexlines all the way around. Interior well maintained including headliner and upholstery restored by DeGreeve Auto Upholstery in 2016. Numerous replacement parts from both YearOne and Ames Performance. No accidents. Notes: Sub-frame cross-member deliberately distorted by hand to accommodate larger Doug Nash/Richmond Gear transmission, however, car drives and tracks properly and transmission shifts properly. TMU as speedometer cable broken in 1982 and repaired circa 2008. Driveline has undiagnosed vibration about 2500 to 3000 rpm, although the engine ran true on engine dynamometer in 2011.
