This 1981 Audi was acquired from the original owner in 2021 after being pulled out of the storage facility where it has been kept since 1991. The odometer shows 38,000 km (23,000 miles), 2000 of which have been put on by the current owner. Work done on the vehicle in the past year includes, refurbished gas tank, new fuel pump, new accumulator, new fuel and vacuum lines where needed, new vacuum pump for central locking system, new fuel filter, rebuilt fuel distributor, new fuel injectors, new spark plugs, compression test shows all cylinders at 100 psi, new timing belt, new fan and alternator belts, new air filter, new oil filters and oil change performed, new relays where required, A/C recharged and inspected, The car starts and runs as new. The body shows a few rock chips in the paint, but otherwise in excellent condition. The windshield remains unchipped. All controls function well.
