Description

Limited Edition 1978 Indy Pace Car, number 3201 of 6502 cars built (one for each dealership in Canada and US). This car started out at Nix Motor Sales in Poseyville, Indiana. Everything is original except the tires which were put on new in 2016 as well as a new battery. Everything works. No rust underneath as it has few miles and was always stored inside. Still has the original protective plastic for the carpet when it was delivered new. Car won National First Place in 2012 at a show put on by the Antique Automobile Club of America. It has also been Bloomington Gold Certified by the National Corvette Certification Board and won numerous Top Flight Awards from the National Corvette Restorers Society.

1978 Corvette Indy Pace Car Limited Edition with only 1013 original miles from new. Always stored in climate controlled building and never driven in the rain or snow. Original sales delivery sticker is still on the passenger window. Drivetrain includes an L48 350 CI engine with an automatic 3 speed transmission. Other items include AC, power windows, power locks, cruise control, AM/FM radio with front and rear speakers, CB radio (not sure if it works). The radio works good but the power antenna needs a repair. This car definitely turns heads when it\'s on the road.

Included is a binder with original sales documents, certificates of the various awards won, and also a list of the owners through the years.
