INTERESTING / IMPORTANT VEHICLE HISTORY AND SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS:

Garage kept 1977 Mercedes Benz 450SL roadster/coupe R107 with under 58K miles. Finished in rare original English Red (burnt orange) paint over recently re-upholstered MB-TEX Palomino seats and bamboo interior. Features include a fold-away soft top, colour matching removable hardtop, 14″ original Bundt alloy wheels, fog lights, electric windows, central locking, power ant, cruise control, and air conditioning. The well maintained Bosch fuel-injected 4.5L V-8 features overhead cam and pulls strong with 230 horsepower and top speed 127 MPH making it a true German luxury muscle car. With a lofty base price of $21,940 US in 1977 this was the benchmark of sophistication and engineering. Gorgeous original factory paint, hand painted factory pinstripe, and factory wheels. The only thing not true to factory specs is the aftermarket Alpine stereo and Polk Audio speakers.
