A little history about the car. It was originally purchased out of Red Deer, Alberta, Canada. It has always been registered in Alberta to one owner a Calgary Realtor who never drove it in the rain or in winter. As you may or may not remember in the 80s GM was responsible for some substandard paintjobs. This car was taken down to the metal on GM Warranty. The owner at the time at his own expense upgraded the paint to BASF, Glasurit Premium automotive paint, resulting in a mirror like finish in Navajo Orange. . A rare color. Most of these Turbo Trans AMs were black and gold. This stands out and gets attention wherever its driven.This 1981 Pontiac Firebird Turbo Trans AM. model was only produced by Pontiac for two years. This being the last year of production as Pontiac was trying to get away from the big horsepower engines. This car has a stock LU301 turbo charged engine that has never been modified which is producing around 210HP. This car has matching numbers. Performance mufflers were added in early 1980s by the owner. White Letter Cooper Cobra tires were added in 2022 along with body color turbo wheels adding to the sport look of this beautiful 2nd generation Trans AM.
